Ayrton Senna Lotus 97T 1985 F1 Minichamps 1/18 On A Hand Painted Model Mount.
This is the 1985 Lotus 97 T which was driven by the legendary Ayrton Senna. The 1/18 scale Minichamps replica model is mounted on a hand painted, livery themed Model Mount.
All of the lettering and numbers were gold leafed by hand to really make them pop. The pictures do no justice as of to how good this piece looks in person.
When I create these Model Mounts I credit most of my ideas to the original livery designers. I only try to pay homage to what they accomplished. With my roots as a professional musician for 25 years I think of the Model Mounts I create like this; Can you think of a song you know and love, but it's just too short? I'm sure you can think of at least one. When the song is over you just want more. Well, I take my favorite race cars that don my favorite designs, which I'd love to see more of, and bring the extended versions to life.
