Made by Starcourt in 1984 and 1985, using the original Budgie Toys moulds, and left over stock of Budgie 1960's decals and boxes.
This deep red Scammell cab and deep red and light cream trailer are in VERY near MINT condition, (just two edge pin-prick surface paint chips) with PERFECT transfers on both sides, depicting 'British Railways' and also the 'Cadbury's Dairy Milk' advert. As is common with this re-issue, half of the front tyre and hub have been spray-painted to match the cab's deep red. An odd feature, but not at all unusual.
The model comes in a very good Original Condition 1960's box.
