The Scorchin' Scooter made Hot Wheels history as the first motorcycle ever
released into the mainline. Designed by Greg Padginton, this beaut of a bike
was an instant fan-favorite—so much so that over 30 versions of it have
been released since its debut in 1997. The 1998 Treasure Hunt Series edition
sports a shiny, red exterior, with black handlebars and silver exhaust
pipes. Black and yellow checkerboard tampos adorn the sides. This particular
Scorchin' Scooter was packaged sideways—making it a unique addition to any
diecast collection.
