Greetings! This week I am offering a fine selection of vintage 1950's and 60's Volkswagen toys, including some seldom found rarities. The iconic Beetle Käfer with split, oval and square rear window, Cabriolet convertible, the stylish Karmann Ghia, split window "barn door" passenger bus, utility bus vehicles, the classic "bay window" bus, and the 1500 Notchback are all represented. Tin, plastic and diecast in a variety of scales are on offer. Manufacturers include Wiking, Cursor, Dressler, and Schroeder of Germany; Bandai of Japan; Eca (Spain); Ribierinho and Vitesse (Portugal); with Marx and the exceptionally scarce Lucky 1500 Notchback from Hong Kong to round out the group. They have been cherished as a part of my personal collection for many years, and are now available to add to yours!
This auction is for the scarce and charming vintage 1960's Eca (Barcelona, Spain) Service Station Set with 5 Vw Split Window Beetles in new condition on the original card.  This seldom found set is nicely made with plastic construction split rear window Beetles measuring about 2 inches each (1/86 scale).  The Service Garage labels are printed in Spanish, and is actually a copy of the German Siku garage.  The cardboard header card has some creases and wear, has the original clear plastic cover (some cracks/tears) and an original price sticker.
