Harris Shaw, based at Binley, Conventry, can trace its roots back to the 1940s.  As part of a constant drive to improve coach standards, the company announced to purchase of 3 Neoplan Coaches in early 1984.  The order included one Skyliner double deck coach and two of the latest 'state of the art; single deck coaches - the Neoplan Cityliner.
The coaches operated a twice weekly program to Mediterranean resorts in the south of France and Spain, and were a regular sight on Europe's motorways throughout the mid-eighties. They attracted significant interest at the time due to their unique styling with many clients requesting that they travel on vehicle registration HST 11 specifically.  It is believed the two coaches are still operating in the UK and still attracting much attention.
This great looking, hard to find 1:76 model, made in 1999, comes with a numbered Limited Edition Certificate Card in a plastic display case.  One side of the case shows a small cracked line.  Please also check out the other UK OOC bus models on my eBay listing.
All my models are kept in a smoke-free and pet-free home.  This model has never been out of the box since I bought it except for taking the pictures.  It would make a great addition to your diecast bus/OOC model collection!
