MILITARY TRUCK, W/ENAMEL PAINT & RUBBER TIRES (Circa 1956-1964)Mid-20th c
Japanese tin friction toysDIMENSIONS: 8" Length x 3 ¼" Height x 2 ¾" Depth
DESCRIPTION: There's no appreciable, noticeable dings or dents to this vintage
TN Nomura' Japanese pressed tin lithographed military toy friction vehicle.
There's only some slight surface oxidation on the pressed tin hubcaps of the
hard rubber wheels. All hubcaps are however present. The attached tin, slanted
circular radar assembly, toward what's the front of the truck, with the four
person cab being located in the back, is without damage and is fixed in
position. There appears to be perhaps a missing thumb tab or turn screw that
fits on top of the exposed wire, coming out of the middle of the circular radar
assembly. The lithographed images of the helmeted US Army personnel inside the
truck's cab, as well as the yellow, white and black lithographed, decorated
sides, are all in superb condition, with almost no paint loss. The corners of
the military truck are largely without oxidation, dings or dents. It is marked
on one of the doors'U. S. A. 053270.' This appears to be a vintage Japanese tin
military toy that was always kept inside. In very well preserved overall
vintage condition. Very Cool.
CONDITION:Good to Very Good overall vintage condition.
